So here is a list of some of our favorite Denver Mother’s Day events (themed around herbs and tea, of course!) that we think are worth checking out.

1.) Plant Sales

What better way to celebrate spring and Mother’s Day by taking your mom to pick out some new plants for this season’s garden?

We look forward to this sale every year so we can stock up on herbs, flowers and plants supplied by local growers.

Artemisia & Rue’s Mother’s Day Weekend Plant Sale

Take Mom to Artemisia & Rue this weekend to learn about the huge variety of healing herbs she could add to her garden this year.

When: Thursday, May 9 through Sunday, May 12

Denver Botanic Gardens Plant Sale

Take Mom for a journey back in time to enjoy a proper afternoon tea while learning about Denver’s historic roots at one of these special tea events.

Mother’s Day Tea at Byers-Evans House Museum

The Byers-Evans House is one of Denver’s most historic landmarks that has been restored to the 1912–1924 period. You probably know Molly Brown as the brave, brash lady who survived the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. But she was also a prominent figure in Denver society. Celebrate strong women everywhere by taking your mom to tea at the historic Molly Brown House, where you’ll learn more about Molly, the Titanic and proper tea etiquette of the time.
