It seems that infused oil places are popping up all over the place.  Did you know you can make these oils yourself at home?  These oils can be used to impart flavor or used to make body-care products. So let’s talk about how to make herb infused oil!

The process is fairly simple:

Step 1- Fill a sterilized glass jar about ⅔ of the way with dried herbs of your choice. Fresh herbs will need to be dried before using

Step 2- Cover the herbs with oil (olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, avocado oil, etc.)

Step 3- Put a top on the jar and place it somewhere you’ll see it- shake the jar daily and infuse for 4-6 weeks.
Step 4- Strain the herbs and keep in a cool, dark location for about a year.  Use this herb infused oil as desired!

We used Easy Naps Calm Nights for the pictures in this post.  This could be used on your temples, back, or feet during times of stress.

Give it a shot and let us know what herbs you used!!
